The Permanent Marine Corps Uniform Board is conducting a Survey in order to get Marines opinions about a new Marine Corps SNCO Evening Dress Jacket.   The modification would make the USMC male SNCO evening dress jacket without a bow tie and will instead have a standing collar and an open silhouette to provide a distinctive Marine Corps appearance apart from other services.  The new Evening Dress Jacket will have a phase-in period that will be determined based on the results of this survey. If accepted the design will result in an approximate increase of $50.00 for SNCOs.
