Army Combat Shirt (ACS)
The Army has completed testing on the new Army Combat Shirt (ACS). The ACS is made of flame resistant material, provides IR protection and has improved comfort. The shirt body is made of moisture wicking material that provides increased comfort when worn under body armor. The shirt is washable and will maintain its flame resistance for the life of the garment. For more information on the Army Combat Shirt from PEO Soldier CLICK HERE.

The combat shirt is a great Idea for wearing under the IBA! In fact the ARMY's ACU is a complete sucess! They realy listened to their soldiers feedback that are out in the battle field to design a functional purpose built uniform. Unlike my branch of service the Air Force who spent millions in so-called research and development designing a completely useless uniform that a bunch of Office workers designed instead and not Airman who are in the field. The Air Force would have saved Millions if they would have only taken the Army's uniform and approved it for Air Force use.Or even beter taken the Army's ACU changed the Pattern to the tiger stripe pattern they're so hell-bent on us having and called it a day! The Air Force really dropped the Ball on this uniform thing.

The combat shirt looks awfully sporty... it says, "I'm tactical AND stylish".. ahh the military- I'm sure the money spent on this research and development could've gone to a better cause.
