MARADMIN 361/08 CMC announces USMC Uniform Changes
MARADMIN 361/08 announces the proceedings of USMC Uniform Board # 210
An overview of CMC decisions is below. Marines should refer to MARADMIN 361/08 for more information.
- Command Master Chiefs serving at billets identified in the MARADMIN are authorized to wear the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) identification badge centered on the right pocket of the Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform (MCCUU).

Like the Presidential and Vice Presidential service badges, the OSD and JCS badges are not authorized to be worn of the MCCUU.

The recommendation to add reflectivity to the PT shirt, PT shorts and sweats was disapproved.

Marines are authorized to wear tights that are color coordinated, and no longer than, the general purpose PT shorts. Tights may not be worn in lieu of PT shorts.

The recommendation to increase the number of MCCUU issued and maintained by Marines was tabled pending further review.

The maximum height allowance of the female dress shoe (pumps) has been increased to 3 inches (allowable range is now between 1-1/2 to 3 inches).

The recommendation to make the male officer white soft-bosom shirt optional with the Dress Blue and Blue-White Dress "A" and "B" uniforms was disapproved. The shirt remains a required component of the Dress Blue uniform.
