USAF PT Uniform changes approved

Col. Steve Gray from the 77th Aeronautical Systems Group Human Systems Program Office reports that Officials from the USAF Uniform Program Office have announced approved changes to the Air Force PT Uniform.
-Improved USAF Running suit design. Thinner, more flexible fabric. Streamlined design by removing collar hood and should vents. The Running suit redesign also includes a new liner with antimicrobial properties that will shed moisture at a faster rate.
- Improved USAF PT shorts. Softer, more flexible fabric, side-pockets, increased inseam length, and redesigned inner liner.
-Improved Air Force PT shirt. Lighter weight, higher performance fabric. Moisture wicking properties and odor reduction.
-Optional authorized Air Force PT gear for wear. New long sleeve T-shirt and sweatshirt are now available for purchase through the Army Air Force Exchange System. Optional running shorts to be introduced this summer.
