Stain-resistant boot research under way
The Air Force Uniform Office is conducting testing and research in order to find a stain-resistant ABU Utility boot that is low maintenance and will not stain. The goal is to find and test boots that are similar to the current black leather boot, but are Sage Green in color. They intend to find a boot that is easy to clean, doesn't stain and won't show scuffs or wear from flight line or other use.
200 Airmen are projected to participate in testing this summer at Luke Air Force Base.
