Custom-sized ACU & ABUs now available at AAFES clothing sales

The Army and Air Force Exchange Service announced an agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency, that will allow Soldiers and Airman to special order any uniform to a servicemember's exact measurements.

Tech Sgt McCoy, the Program Manager for Military Clothing said "The way the Special Measurements program works is a lot like visiting a tailor shop.  An associate at the MC will take a series of measurements, depending on the item you are ordering, be it a jacket or pants or boots."

Measurements are sent off to DLA for production of the uniform and it is shipped back to the store where ordered for pickup. Times can take from six to eight weeks. Prices remain the same as off-the-shelf uniforms.
